We all know it - Obama’s campaign was the by far the best ever. Had he not been running for office, I’m pretty sure he could’ve sold us anything.
In my mind, it all started with his internet presence. Much to my surprise, online ad spending was relatively low:

Just goes to show you, success in online advertising is all about quality placement, promoting social interactions and true product value. Other than a few million in Google search spending, Obama’s campaign gurus focused on local markets and target age groups they knew they could reach best through the web. This is how they successfully attracted the youth vote.
The man knows how to CONNECT, figuratively and literally.
