Idea: Improve Test Scores! - Test sheet "Bubbler" makes filling-in-the-bubble easy

While Brandon & I were in Alabama, we took a marketing class together that required a lot of cramming and even more hand cramping due to filling in bubbles on tests. We had a test or quiz at least once a week, and every one of them used Scantron sheets.

For those who don’t know, Scantron sheets are used nationwide for testing…Most are multiple-choice and students fill in the bubble that corresponds with the correct answer. Once completed, the answer sheets are scanned by a machine, making the grading process easy for teachers.

After just a few weeks, we couldn’t stand it anymore. Brandon, Mr. Perfectionist. And me, Mr. Meticulous. It sounds dorky, but we began to brainstorm ways we could fill those bubbles in with less effort. Linked above is our idea. It didn’t take us much time to think of it, but ever since we came up with the idea we haven’t let it go. For the past year and a half, every time one of us has taken a scantron test, we’ve texted the other complaining and pushing the issue of developing our idea. So, here it is. Step one.
