My mom & sis have had a helluva lacrosse season this year and are 16-0 heading into the State Championship tomorrow night. My mom has lead the team for the past 5 years, building a powerhouse program in the process. Earlier this spring she took the team down to Salt Lake for a tournament at which they beat the top 3 teams from Utah. Many of her girls have gone on to play college ball, and my sister will be doing that next fall as well. She’s heading to St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA where she’ll play Division 1 lacrosse. She’s the first Idaho athlete (boys & girls) to ever get a D1 scholarship for lacrosse coming out of high school. I couldn’t be more proud.
